To catch you up on the last month:

We'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our household: Matilde Lina Enciso!
The Enciso's live in our upstairs and Ginny gave birth to a precious baby girl on December 17th!
It is so much fun to have her here, she has already grown like a weed and has a very contented disposition.

I'm sure you will see more pictures of her and Jaden playing in the future, Jaden would love to play with her now, but for her safety it's probably better that she'd rather sleep.

The first pictures are from her first 24 hours alive and the last pictures are from last week with her grandmother, Alice Harder, and her uncle, Mike Harder.

More from Christmas, In living Color

The last post had some images from our time in San Antonio...Mary and JJ, Jaden's cousins are with him in one...Dad is with him in another, he is opening his favorite present from Barbara: Carlos's skinny pants from decades ago!

This one will have one of Nana and I, one of Gma and I, and more pictures from Austin and christmas day, unfortunately Mom didn't take many shots of anyone but me, she'll get better at this in time.

Blue Christmas (please excuse the blue jaden shots)

I appologize for being absent from the blog scene over the past month! It has been a full and joyful time for our family...despite a lack of postings.

(I'm not exactly sure what happened with the blue jaden picture, i'll try it again, but for now I have to leave the blue because I can't figure out how to remove the pic without starting all over...:)

Here's a glimpse of our Christmas season. Jaden and I spent 5 days in San Antonio with Joel joining us for the end, then we headed to Austin for another 5 days. Thankfully, Jay and Fredrik were willing to come visit us in Memphis for New Years, so THEY drove Jaden's (and a few of ours) presents up here for us while we enjoyed flying back rather than driving with an 11 month ACTIVE child. We LOVED our time with them here, though it was sad to say good by to grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles in Texas. We love you all, love being with you and wish it could happen more often! Thanks for everyhing!

Jaden is one busy kiddo right now. He is standing very well and can take a few steps with no help from us, though crawling is still his preferred transportation method. He is interested in touching and tasting any and everything. He is SUCH a JOY to watch grow. He is becoming much more affectionate offering Joel and I slobbery open mouthed kisses and often bumping our heads with his in what we refer to as a "head hug."
